Delayed emotions or Emotional delay?

Why some emotions are delayed?
Why some emotions are always felt after the cause or event that triggered that feeling is over?
Why these emotions are felt only when it is a thing of the past?
Why these emotions are felt when it is all over and people that once mattered are lost?
Why these emotions are felt when one is helpless and nothing can be changed?
Why these emotions only knock our brains and hearts when we have more time and are all alone, but it's too late?
Are we too busy to embrace emotions in real time?
Are we too busy to stop everything to focus on our emotions and take actions based on our feelings?
Is there no time to mourn, to cry or to just feel the pain once in a while?
Is this not what makes us human? Is this not what brings loved ones together? Is this not what would keep us all connected?
Then, why busy lives, schedules, deadlines have taken over the emotional side of our  brains?
How are we now capable to pause emotions, not feel, ignore people that matter and please people that pay us?
It seems we have evolved to ignore and surpass drama and be hardhearted to focus on our jobs and societal demands.
Everyone is the same as if it is a collective evolution of humankind to become more selfish, brutal and emotionless. Is this the call of time? Is this what we need? Is this what is rewarded?
No wonder, people acting on emotional basis are called 'Emotional fools'. Why fools? Why not emotional intelligence? After all, it is not just heart but brain controls emotions too. Same brain that helps us with maths, statistics and other tough decisions. Then why underplay the emotional act of brain and praise the others?
Why there is a fear to say I am emotional today and I wish to embrace this emotion in its full capacity. How about saying 'I wish to know how much I can feel today? How much emotional can I get? If we say that, does that make us emotionally weak? Are emotions a weakness? Are emotional people weak? If yes, then the world is heading in the right direction. Like Darwin said, only the fittest and the strongest survive and if emotional human breed is a weak one then definitely we need to get rid of these emotional fools to become a stronger race for the brutal, competitive and 'eye for an eye' world. But, are human not the highly evolved species across all living beings? Are we also not the species with highly evolved emotions when compared with other species. So if universe had plans to weed out emotional fools then wouldn't that have happened already. But no, universe did not extinct us like dinosaurs, we are still here. In spite of being the most emotional of all species, we are still surviving. This can mean only one thing, that emotions play an important role in our survival and existence. Emotions are a set of tricky feelings that preserves humanity amongst humans and also, facilitates compassion for all living beings and towards each other.
The world needs more emotional fools or rather, emotional intelligence. We need people to own their emotions and not be shy or feel weak about being emotional. We need people to ring work and say, 'I need a day off today as I am too emotional (either happy or sad) and I wish to take a moment to feel this'. At the same time, we also need bosses/elders/friends etc. who say, 'Yes. I understand. Embrace your emotions'. Only this would enable feeling emotions in real time and save us from delayed emotions and save us from regrets of not feeling things when it mattered the most !
